How do you replace the timing belt of the Ford S-Max?

The replacement of the timing belt of the Ford S-Max is carried out by opening the hood, so that access to the components inside the engine compartment is obtained: on the left side of the engine block, it will be possible to locate the cover of the camshaft pulleys, which must be removed. After this cover has been removed, the bolts fixing the front right wheel can be loosened, removing it in turn and also removing the inner cover of its wheel arch: in this way it will be possible to loosen the central nut of the crankshaft pulley, reducing the tension of the belt and replacing it with a new one.
