Removing a Steering Wheel with Airbag

In this video, you will see step by step all the phases of removing a steering wheel with an airbag. First, disconnect the battery, removing the negative terminal first. Wait at least 5-10 minutes before starting work to protect the system and the airbag as it is. To continue, turn the steering wheel to one side to locate the first screw on the back of it. Then turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction to access the second screw. Disconnect the airbag from its housing and use a tool to release the clip and the corresponding connector of the cables present on the back. Reposition the steering wheel in the central position, remove the keys from the ignition barrel, and turn the steering wheel until the steering lock engages. Using the appropriate key, unscrew the bolt and remove the steering wheel. Car model: Ford Focus
Required tools: socket wrench 6-24 mm, screwdriver.
