To remove the rear bumper, start with the screws along the edge of the wheel arch (it may be easier to remove the rear wheel, but it can also be done without); then move the wheel arch liner to access the screws underneath and remove the fog light by disconnecting the bulb holder; unscrew the screws along the closure edge of the rear hatch and then those along the lower edge of the bumper itself; at this point, it is possible to pull the bumper away from its seat by pulling it backwards: the bumper is actually a plastic covering strip that encases the underlying impact absorber.
