Replacing the Starter Motor on the Ford Focus

In this guide, learn how to remove and replace the starter motor on the Ford Focus, following the instructions below. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the battery, disconnecting the terminals (positive and negative) and unscrewing the bracket screws; also remove the air filter box by disconnecting the mass airflow sensor connector and removing the intake hose. Next, lift the vehicle and remove the lower engine cover; then unscrew the starter motor fixing screws until you can remove and replace it!
