Model: Ford Fiesta MK 6, Fiesta 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017
Part: Parking sensors
Operation: How to mount the rear parking sensors on Ford Fiesta

To mount the wireless parking sensors on a Ford Fiesta proceed as follows. Using paper tape, identify the area of the rear bumper where the 4 holes for the parking sensors will be made. Using a template, take the measurements of the holes as follows: identify the central axis of the car, from there mark the measurement of 230 mm to the right and left of the center line and, in turn, take the distance of another 420 mm for the sensors right and left placed in the corners of the car. Locate the center point of the hole by measuring 30 mm lower than the central profile of the bumper. Check again all the measurements taken and, with a 21 mm drill and hole cutter, drill the holes in the bumper. Open the tailgate, lift the cargo bed and remove the panel located inside the bumper. Take the wireless control unit, identify the sensor cables which are identified with a plate where it is specified if they are the right and left sensors and right and left corner. Identify the power supply of the rear lights and connect the power supply of the control unit to the blue power cable of the rear lights, and proceed to solder it with tin. Connect the grounding of the control unit to the ground of the car and clamp the cables. Position the sensors on the bumper and activate the speaker, position the control unit correctly and secure it with the supplied double-sided adhesive. Finally, reassemble the parts inside the luggage compartment.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
