How to Install Rear Parking Sensors on a Ford Fiesta

To install wireless parking sensors on a Ford Fiesta, proceed as follows. Use masking tape to mark the area on the rear bumper where you will need to make 4 holes for the parking sensors. Using a template, measure the holes as follows: identify the centreline of the vehicle, then mark a distance of 230 mm to the right and left of the centreline, and measure another 420 mm for the right and left sensors located at the corners of the vehicle. Identify the central point of the hole by measuring 30 mm down from the central profile of the bumper. Double-check all measurements, and with a drill and a 21 mm hole saw, make the holes in the bumper. Open the tailgate, lift the load floor, and remove the panel inside the bumper. Take the wireless control unit, identify the sensor cables marked with tags indicating whether they are for the right and left sensors and right and left corners. Locate the power supply for the rear lights and connect the power supply of the control unit to the blue power cable of the rear lights, soldering it with solder. Connect the ground of the control unit to the vehicle's ground and secure the cables. Position the sensors on the bumper and activate the speaker, correctly position the control unit, and fix it with the supplied double-sided tape. Finally, reassemble the parts inside the boot.
