How the Start & Stop System Works on the Ford C-Max

In today's video, we will see how the start & stop system works on the Ford C-Max. Firstly, for the system to function, the engine coolant must be at the correct temperature and the service battery must be charged. Once this is done, activate it using the designated button on the centre console, marked with an A and a rotating arrow. At this point, the system will be active and when you put the vehicle in neutral, it will automatically switch off. In the case of a car with an automatic gearbox, it will switch off when coasting below 19 miles/h. To deactivate it, simply press the button again.
