Here are the instructions to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for a Ford Transit. First, take your key and pry open the side slot to split it into two parts, gaining access to the circuit board and battery.

Then, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (with the same code as the original). Finally, reassemble the two halves of the fob!
