First of all, it is suggested to carry out this maintenance with a cold engine to avoid unpleasant burns; to access the spark plugs it is first of all necessary to remove the air conveyor which passes right through the center of the tappet cover; then extract the pipettes by pulling them upwards and, even before removing the spark plugs, it is advisable to blow in correspondence with the relative seats to eliminate any residual dirt that could end up in the cylinders; then proceed with the disassembly of the spark plugs and the installation of new ones without exceeding the tightening torque; finally apply the pipettes again making them fit perfectly and reassemble the air conveyor.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
