How to replace the starter motor on the Ford S-Max?

To replace the starter motor on the Ford S-Max, open the bonnet to access the components within the engine bay: you will need to remove the cover from the top of the engine block to reach the underlying components. The starter motor is located at the front, between the engine block and the gearbox: by unscrewing the securing bolts, you can remove it and disconnect the connectors. This will allow you to fit the new replacement part, reassembling all previously removed components.
