Instructions for Removing Front Brake Pads

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 1 - Years 1993-2000
Part: Brake pads

To remove the front brake pads, position the vehicle on suitable car stands and remove the front wheel to access the brake caliper. Then, unclip the anti-vibration spring located on the side of the caliper and unscrew the rear mounting pins of the caliper to the respective bracket. Move the caliper away and extract the pads. To install new pads, reverse the process by retracting the caliper piston using a C-clamp or simply a pair of locking pliers to press the piston back.
