In this video tutorial, you will learn how to reset the BMS (Battery Management System) on a Ford Focus Mk3. The BMS is an electronic device that ensures the health of the battery cells by monitoring key parameters and optimising performance. After replacing the old battery with a new one of the same amperage, get into the vehicle and press the ignition button without pressing the clutch pedal, so do not start the engine. Within 10 seconds, press the rear fog light button five times, then press the hazard light button three times. After about 5 seconds, you will see the battery icon light up three times; if it does not, you need to try the reset again.
