Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Ford S Max MK 1 - Years 2006-2016

The cabin air filter is located just behind the air duct, and unlike almost all car models accessible from the passenger side, on this model, it is accessed from the driver's side. Therefore, remove the panel under the steering wheel to access the duct, unscrew the three fastening screws of the filter cover and extract it by slightly deforming it. Ensure there are no dirt residues and insert the new filter, respecting the direction of the airflow. When replacing the filter, sanitise the cabin with a suitable antibacterial spray.
