How to Replace Front Brake Discs and Pads
Model: Ford Focus
MK 1
- Years 1998-2004
First, raise the car to work comfortably, then start by removing the front wheel with an appropriate spanner.
By rotating the axle, you will find three plastic caps on the back of the disc, under which are Allen screws that need to be unscrewed to free the brake caliper. To remove the calipers, separate the pads using a large flat screwdriver as leverage. Check the condition of the discs by running your finger over them; there should be no obvious grooves. If the discs need replacing, gently extract them to avoid jamming and fit the new parts. Remove the pads and, using the notch as a reference, check for wear; replace them if necessary. To replace them, insert the inner pad first, and to position it, use a C-clamp. Insert the other pad and refit the brake caliper in place with the Allen screws, covering them with the respective plastic cap. Finally, refit the wheel, tightening the bolts in a criss-cross pattern, and ensure they are tight once the car is back on the ground. Before starting the engine, turn on the ignition and pump the brake pedal a few times to restore pressure in the system of your Ford Focus.

How to Change the H7 Headlight Bulb on an Audi A3
When replacing the front headlight bulbs, choosing the right bulbs is certainly the first hurdle to overcome: halogen, blue white light, xenon, or LED. Once you have made your choice, installing the new bulb can be done without removing the headlight. Simply open the front bonnet, locate the protective cap of the bulb holder, and press on the corresponding latch to remove it. Then grasp the bulb's power connector and pull it out along with the bulb itself, disconnect the connector, fit the new bulb, and press it into its seat until it clicks into place. by ScegliAuto More videos
