Underneath, you will find a complete T40 bolt, and once this is removed, you can lay the seat back on its backrest from both sides. There are still two 8 mm bolts to remove, allowing you to take off the safety plate and comfortably access the battery underneath, which is no different from a standard battery.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
