In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the cabin filter on a Ford Explorer by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new pollen filter. Next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. The cabin filter on this vehicle is located behind the glove compartment, so remove all items inside it. Now, using a flathead screwdriver, remove the side panel. Once this side panel is removed, you can also take out the glove compartment, then remove the tension cord located on the right side, followed by the other fastening elements, and the drawer will lower completely. Now you have access to the filter box, so remove the cover of the filter box by prying it with a screwdriver and take out the filter from its housing; position the new filter according to the arrows on the filter itself.
