Remove the positive terminal using a 10 mm spanner, then remove the earth nut located on the right, sanding away the paint (factory applied) that causes increased resistance to the power going to the negative terminal at the back. The YouTuber can then conveniently recharge the battery overnight, but this is the method to bypass the immobiliser issue preventing the vehicle from restarting.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
