To replace the door lock of the Ford Focus, open the corresponding door to detach the circular cover located on the left side. After the cover is removed, you can loosen the underlying screw to extract the lock actuator from the outer part of the door. After removing the old actuator, insert the new one, securing it in its housing with the appropriate side screw; after installation, check that everything functions correctly.
