In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the steering wheel airbag on a Ford Ranger pickup. This operation is very simple and quick. Before proceeding, to avoid accidental activation, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Start by entering the cabin, then carefully pry off the upper cover of the steering wheel using a plastic spatula. Next, rotate the steering wheel 90 degrees, unlock the securing clip accessible through the hole, and repeat the operation on the opposite side. At this point, you can separate the airbag from the support, disconnect the connector, and install the replacement if necessary.
