To replace the timing belt on a Ford Mondeo, lift the car with a jack so that the bolts securing the front right wheel can be loosened; completely remove the wheel and the corresponding wheel arch liner: this will allow you to locate the tensioner pulley, which must be removed by loosening its securing bolt. By removing the pulley, the tension on the belt will be reduced, allowing you to slide it off the respective pulleys; at this point, you can fit the new belt around the pulleys, ensuring everything functions correctly.
