Today's steps will show you the procedure for removing and replacing the timing belt on the Ford Mondeo. First, raise the vehicle and begin by removing the front right wheel and the wheel arch liner; then disconnect the auxiliary belt and remove the crankshaft pulley.

At this point, remove the side timing cover and proceed with the timing belt removal, checking the wear condition of the other timing components; then install and refit the new timing belt, ensuring the engine is timed correctly.
