How to Reset the Oil Light on a Ford Ranger

This video shows how to reset the oil light and maintenance reminder on a Ford Ranger. This procedure is very simple and quick to carry out and does not require any specific tools. It is recommended to perform this procedure only after completing a service or oil change. To carry out this procedure, press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, and after about 10 seconds, the light will start flashing. At this point, wait a few more seconds for it to disappear. When the light goes out, it means the reset was successful.
