How to Install New Speakers in the Door

Model: Ford Mustang MK 4 - Years 1994-2004

The tools needed for this operation are simply a screwdriver and pliers. For safety, disconnect the negative battery cable. Using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork, remove the door armrest, taking care with the connected cables. Unscrew the retaining screw of the switches and remove them. Take off the plastic cover around the opening handle and subsequently remove the plastic plugs that hide the screws securing the door panel and unscrew them. Gently remove the panel as well. Unscrew the frame of the speaker housing. Connect the wires to the new speakers, securing them in place with the screws removed from the frame. Reassemble everything. Perform the same operation on the other door.
