Resetting the service light of the Ford Transit Custom is a very simple operation that can be done completely independently. To reset the light, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously while turning on the vehicle's instrument panel. After about 20 seconds, release both pedals and turn off the panel. Turn on the panel and use the directional buttons on the steering wheel to select the "Maintenance" option to verify that the reset was successful and the amount of oil in the tank. It is important to reset only after performing the service.
