Resetting the service light on a Ford Transit Custom is a very simple operation that can be done entirely by yourself. Start the reset by pressing the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously while turning on the dashboard.

After about 20 seconds, release both pedals and switch off the ignition. Turn on the ignition and use the directional buttons on the steering wheel to select "Maintenance" to check that the reset was successful and the oil level in the tank.

It is important to perform the reset only after completing the service.
