In this video, we see how to reset the oil light on a 2008 Ford Explorer. This procedure is necessary in case the oil light remains on after an oil change. The procedure is very simple and takes less than 1 minute to complete. To reset it, first start the instrument panel, then press the reset button on the panel and scroll to the setup menu option. Once on the setup menu, press and hold the button to confirm, then scroll to the oil option and press and hold the button for about 4 seconds. After resetting, restart the panel to verify that the reset was successful.
