Replacement of the air filter of the Ford Fiesta MK5

The filter that protects the intake circuit of the injection system of the Ford Fiesta from the entry of dust and dirt from the aspirated air must be replaced periodically to ensure its effectiveness. Once the expected mileage is reached, we open the hood of the engine compartment, disconnect the inlet pipe to the filter housing in the center of the compartment, unscrew the two screws that hold it in place, after loosening the clamp we remove the pipe near the oil filler neck, and the breather pipe. We remove the filter box and place it on a work surface, unscrew the screws that hold the cover, open it and remove the old filter, clean the surfaces, insert the new filter element, close the cover and secure it with the screws. We put the box back on the engine and connect the pipes.
