How to Replace the Water Pump on the Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Release and lift the bonnet to access the battery, from which you will disconnect the connectors. Then, locate the pump positioned at the rear of the engine. To remove it, you will need to take off the timing belt to access the bolts securing the pump. Before removing it, disconnect the connectors and the inlet and outlet hoses. After disconnecting all hoses and cables, proceed to remove the pump and retrace the steps described for reassembling.
