How to Change the Engine Oil on a Genesis GV80

To change the oil on the vehicle, proceed as follows: First, open the hood, lift the vehicle on a lift, and remove the small cover panel under the engine to access the oil drain plug. Unscrew the plug and place a container underneath to collect the used oil. Wait a few minutes for all the oil to drain out, then screw the plug back in. Go back to the top of the engine compartment, remove the air intake duct, and underneath it is the filter. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the cap, remove the filter, and install the new one, ensuring to replace the o-ring gasket. Then, reinstall the cap and proceed to fill the system with new oil, always checking the specifications for the oil from the manufacturer.
