In order to replace the timing belt of the Great Wall Hover, you need to open the hood so that you can have access to the components located inside the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate the air filter box, which can be removed by loosening the fastening screws. By also removing the coverings of the top and front of the engine block, you will be able to locate the underlying timing belt: this can be removed from its seat by loosening the central nut of the belt tensioner pulley. At this point, it will be possible to slide out the old belt so that it can be replaced with a new one.
