To replace the air filter on a Holden Captiva, open the hood to access the filter box located on the left side of the engine compartment. Loosen the screws securing the cover, which must be lifted to access the filter. Now, remove the old filter from its housing and insert the new replacement part. After the new filter is in place, close the box and secure the cover with the screws.
