Installation of Side Steps

For the modification, you need to obtain the original side steps, then position the vehicle on a ramp and start the work by removing the protective covers. Attach paper templates to the removed covers and mark the cutting points.

Use a drill to make holes at the corners to be cut, then use a jigsaw to make the cuts. Insert soundproofing material in the passenger side partitions.

Install the metal support structure following the attached instructions. Mount the supports under the body and install the covers by passing them over the supports through the holes just made.

Secure the side step to the supports by tightening the bolts located underneath. Tighten the bolts well and reassemble all the covers.

Repeat the same operation on the driver's side.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
