How to Replace the Spark Plugs on the Honda CR-V MK1?

To replace the spark plugs on a Honda CR-V MK1, you will need 4 NGK BRKR5E-11 spark plugs, specific for the B20B engine. You can find them on eBay under code 271824330454 for £18.01 plus £6.00 shipping. Open the bonnet and disconnect the battery, then remove the engine cover. Take off the ignition coils, disconnect the electrical connector from each coil, removing the 10 mm bolt that secures the coil to the cylinder head. Remove the spark plug with a 16 mm socket by turning it counterclockwise. Check the gap between the electrodes of the new spark plugs (it should be 1.0-1.1 mm). Insert them by hand without forcing, then tighten gently to a torque of 18/22 Nm. Refit the coils, replace the bolt without overtightening, reconnect the electrical connector, reattach the engine cover, and reconnect the battery.
