Replacement of Front Brake Discs and Pads

Model: Honda Civic MK 7 - Years 2001-2006

Loosen the wheel fixing bolts before lifting the vehicle, then raise it with a jack (or on a lift) and complete the wheel removal. Unscrew the two fixing bolts of the brake disc from the hub. Next, unscrew the two fixing bolts of the brake caliper (located at the rear) and remove the caliper itself along with the pads. Proceed to remove the brake caliper support to take off the disc from the hub. Clean the hub of any oxidation residue, apply grease, reposition the new disc, and tighten the respective fixing bolts. Refit the brake caliper support (after cleaning it with a wire brush) and insert the new pads. Compress the brake caliper piston using a clamp and finally refit it, tightening the respective fixing bolts. Refit the wheel. Pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
