Dismantling Dashboard, Radio, and Installing iPod Adapter Kit

Model: Honda Civic MK 8 - Years 2006-2012

Start by unclipping the plastic cover located just below the steering wheel and unscrew the fixing screws of the dashboard part above the steering wheel, which will also need to be unclipped. Proceed by removing the small cover inside the glove compartment located just below the radio and unscrew the fixing screws of the central console, which can then be removed by pulling it forward. At this point, install the iPod adapter by connecting the plug into the designated socket behind the radio, position the control unit properly inside the radio compartment, and route the cable to bring the Aux connector output to a convenient position for use, such as inside the glove compartment.
