Engine Oil and Oil Filter Change

It may seem like a complex task, but changing the oil is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few steps. First, lift the front of the car to work underneath. Open the bonnet and unscrew the oil filler cap. Obtain a container to collect the old oil. From underneath the engine, use a spanner to unscrew the oil filter and allow the oil to drain out. Next, using a 17mm spanner, unscrew the plug located under the engine and let the remaining oil flow out. Before refitting the new filter, apply a little oil to the gasket and then screw it into position without overtightening. After closing the lower plug, you can begin adding the new oil. Start the engine for a few minutes and then check the level. Top up if necessary.
