Changing the oil and filter is a task you can do yourself and is advisable to perform at least once a year, regardless of mileage. Start by removing the plug from the oil sump and allowing the oil to drain into a suitable container.

While waiting for all the oil to drain, you can replace the filter using a chain wrench. Before applying the new filter, it is good practice to lubricate the seal with a few drops of the new oil. After replacing the filter and screwing the sump plug back in, you can pour in the new oil through the filler neck.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
