The connecting rod connects the stabilizer bar to the oscillating arm of the front suspension and is composed of a metal bar at the ends of which there are two articulated heads: due to the considerable stresses to which they are subjected, the spherical hinges of the heads tend to wear out and take play with consequent noise. Their replacement is extremely simple and could also be done without lifting the car on a lift. To be able to disassemble them, it is necessary to keep in mind that the axis of the spherical hinge must be locked with a hexagonal wrench in order to then unscrew the fixing nut; the same operation must be performed to be able to tighten it. It is also suggested to replace both connecting rods, i.e. left side and right side.
