How do you repair the steering box of the Hyundai I30?

The problems concerning the steering box of the Hyundai I30 often stem from damage to a gear located at the beginning of the column, immediately behind the steering wheel: therefore it will be necessary to replace it to solve the problem. To do this, you will need to remove the hooks that secure the steering wheel airbag from the back, so that it can be extracted by disconnecting the internal connector: at this point you can loosen the nut that secures the steering wheel to its seat, removing it and accessing the components at the back. The gear in question can then be replaced by reassembling all the components that were just removed.
