How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter in the Hyundai Kona

To replace the engine oil and oil filter, locate two holes underneath the Hyundai Kona: one at the rear for accessing the bolt that allows the old oil to drain from the engine, and one at the front of the vehicle where you can access the oil filter itself. Proceed to unscrew the bolt using a suitable spanner and let the engine oil drain into a container placed underneath. To unscrew the filter, use the appropriate tool. Ensure the new filter comes with a new gasket. After these operations, add the new oil to the engine: open the bonnet and remove the filler cap (the position can be identified in the video along with the dipstick for checking the oil level in the engine). Check for any leaks. The maximum amount of oil that can be added is indicated in the instruction manual and is 4.5 litres.
