Hyundai Kona - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai Kona MK 1 - Years 2017-2023
Part: Engine oil
Operation: How to replace the engine oil and filter in the Hyundai Kona

To carry out the operation of replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, we find, under the Hyundai Kona, two holes: one in the rear for access to the bolt that allows the old oil to drain from the engine and one in the front of the car where we can access the oil filter itself. We proceed to unscrew the bolt using a special wrench and let the engine oil flow into a basin that we will have previously placed underneath. To unscrew the filter we use the appropriate key. Pay attention to the new filter to be fitted which must also have a new gasket. After these operations we can add the new oil to the engine: open the hood of the engine compartment and open the opening to pour the same (the position can be identified in the video together with that of the dipstick to see the oil level in the engine) . Check for leaks. The maximum quantity of oil that can be added is indicated in the instruction booklet and is 4.5 liters.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
