How to replace the front brake pads of the Hyundai Tucson.

Let's see how to replace the front brake pads on the Hyundai Tucson: with the vehicle still on the ground, loosen the wheel nuts, then lift the car and secure it with jack stands; remove the wheels and retract the piston using a screwdriver by pushing against the old pads. Unscrew the 14 mm bolts and remove the caliper, placing it to the side so that the flexible hose does not become stressed. Brush the caliper bracket and guides, clean all metal surfaces with brake cleaner spray, then clean the face of the piston without damaging the seal. Check the condition of the disc; if it is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Install the new clips, lubricate the pad sliding points, and also the face of the piston that contacts the pad, then insert the new pads. Generously lubricate the sliding pins (the one without rubber goes at the bottom). Reattach the caliper onto the new clips and reinsert and tighten the 14 mm bolts to the specified torque (40/50 Nm). Now press the brake pedal repeatedly until it shows resistance; check the brake fluid level (the fluid may overflow). Reinstall the wheels, tighten the nuts to a torque of 107/127 Nm, and perform a low-speed test.
