Replacing the Pollen Filter

Model: Hyundai Sonata EF - Years 1998-2005
Part: Cabin air filter

The pollen filter purifies the air in the cabin and is located under the passenger glove compartment. Obtain a pollen filter identical to the original model, and to access it, you need to remove the two internal side clips from the glove box and unclip the flap. The filter is located in the compartment behind the flap. Once the filter cover is removed, take out the filter by pulling it gently outward to avoid dispersing dust. To collect the dirt, place a cloth at the bottom. Reinsert the new filter into its housing and close the cover carefully.
