Replacing the thermostat valve on a Hyundai Accent? Open and lift the front bonnet, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Identify the part to disassemble to access the thermostat valve. Unscrew the bolts of the thermostat hose as shown in the video and (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets) remove the sealing cap from the housing and extract the coolant thermostat. Insert the new part and close it with the hose cap. Tighten all the securing screws. Refit the soundproofing panel and top up the reservoir with water. Start the vehicle and check its operation.
