Hyundai Elantra - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai Elantra MK 3, XD - Years 2000-2006
Part: Arm
Operation: Front suspension swing arm head replacement

Raise the car on a lift and remove the front wheel; unscrew the fixing nuts of the connecting rod that connects the swinging arm anti-roll bar; proceed with the disassembly of the spherical head of the swinging arm connected to the hub and then the fixing pins of the arm itself to the cradle as well as the one for fixing to the frame (near the muffler where there is the triangular plate). At this point it is possible to remove the oscillating arm of the suspension, fix it in a vice and disassemble the ball head by removing the fixing seeger and extracting the head using a tube of suitable diameter. Then insert the new head by forcing it into the seat (better if using a press) and applying the relative fixing seeger and the protective rubber. Proceed backwards for installation on board the vehicle.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
