Replacement of Suspension Arm

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006

The suspension arm connects the chassis to the struts. When it is faulty, it needs to be replaced. This is not a very complicated job and can be done independently, saving some money. First, lift the car and locate the arm to be replaced. Remove the wheel cover and unscrew the bolts using the appropriate spanner. Next, disconnect the stabiliser bar with two 14mm spanners. After removing the joint, the suspension arm will be right in front of you, ready to be pulled out after unscrewing all the screws that hold it in place.
