Replacement of Front Suspension Wishbone

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the front wheel; then remove the link that connects the anti-roll bar to the suspension; next, remove the fixing nut of the wishbone ball joint from the wheel hub (give a few taps with a hammer on the ball joint seat to free it for extraction); then proceed to remove the fixing bolts of the wishbone to the chassis and engine cradle. Install the new wishbone by first placing it in its seat and then inserting the ball joint and rear bushes into their respective seats. Tighten the fixing bolts securely.
