Complete Disassembly of the Key on Hyundai I20

Model: Hyundai I20 MK 2, GB - Years 2014-2020

Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the side slot and lever it as shown in the video to remove the top cover. If your intention is to replace the battery, you have already reached your destination because at this point you can replace it. If you intend to completely disassemble the key, use the screwdriver to lever on the other side of the key, removing the other cover and the silver part. At this stage, you can also remove the internal chip and the battery, and you're done. Proceed in reverse for reassembly. This way, you can also replace the internal chip.
