Dismantling/Replacing the Front Headlight

Model: Hyundai Sonata - Years 2004-2014

In the past, a headlight could be dismantled in every part, but as you may know, this is no longer the case as headlights, like rear lights, are now made as a single sealed unit. Consequently, changing a headlight is much simpler and accessible to everyone, as shown in the following images. Once you have opened the bonnet and identified the headlight to be replaced, disconnect the electrical connector. In most cases, this involves pressing a tab while pulling to extract the connector. On the bonnet's edge, locate the two screws to unscrew, plus a third at the base of the headlight in the engine bay, which is a bit more challenging. At this point, simply extract the headlight and replace it with the new one. Car model: Hyundai Sonata Year: 2006/2011
Required tools: 10mm socket wrench, socket extension.
