Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement

If the air conditioning compressor has stopped working due to a mechanical failure, there is likely also an issue with the dryer in the condenser. Before proceeding with the compressor replacement, it is advisable to replace the dryer filter inside the condenser. Start by recovering the gas present in the system, then remove the air conditioning radiator located directly in front of the engine's cooling radiator to replace the filter by unscrewing the cap at the bottom of the dryer. Next, remove the air conditioning compressor by freeing the pulley from the auxiliary belt, then disconnect the pipes and unscrew the mounting bolts. At this point, install the new compressor, ensuring it is filled with the specific oil, and complete the installation of the condenser by replacing all the O-ring seals. Finish the job by performing a vacuum and recharging the gas.
