One of the methods to understand if one of the direction indicator bulbs (or arrows as we are used to calling them) is damaged, is to see if the relative warning light on the instrument panel flashes much faster than normal: this indicates that one of the bulbs on the side with respect to which the light blinks fastest is burned out; therefore identify which bulb it is and proceed with its replacement; once the light bulb has been restored, the light will return to flashing regularly to confirm that everything is back to working properly.
