To replace the gearbox oil in a Hyundai Santa Fe, access the components located at the bottom of the engine bay. Here, you will find a protective panel that needs to be removed by unscrewing the relevant fixing screws. Once the panel is removed, unscrew the drain plug of the oil reservoir, allowing the oil to drain into a suitable container.

After all the oil has drained, close the plug and reinstall the panel, then open the bonnet and top up from the breather next to the battery.
