Replacing the battery in a Hyundai Tucson, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition, then open the bonnet.

Loosen the nuts on both battery terminals using a 10 mm spanner, starting with the negative terminal, and disconnect them. Next, undo the bolt of the lower bracket with a long 12 mm socket, remove the outer cover, and extract the battery from its housing.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
